What is Bright Funds?

Bright Funds is a charitable giving platform that helps individuals and companies support the causes they are passionate about. In addition to providing a donation platform for individual donors, Bright Funds partners with companies to power their workplace giving programs.

Your nonprofit has received a check from Bright Funds Foundation because our donors have directed a donation or company gift (such as a matching gift) to your nonprofit using the Bright Funds platform.

How did my U.S.-based nonprofit get added into Bright Funds?

Our database is powered by GuideStar, a database of confirmed 501(c)(3) public charities and public schools. GuideStar syncs with the IRS database to confirm eligibility information, such as the 501(c)(3) status, and Pub78 verification.

Please note that while your nonprofit is eligible to receive donations through Bright Funds, your nonprofit may not have an account with for our nonprofit portal, Bright Network. You can visit our article here on how to register your nonprofit to access donor reports, and sign up for ACH/EFT/direct deposit.
