How does an organization's status impact my recurring donation?
Currently, our system works to ensure that your donations are sent to all the organizations within your recurring donation set-up. However, since the organizations are grouped together as one donation, if any time an organization loses eligibility, the entire set-up is canceled.
This is to make sure that your system does not charge a donation in its full amount when only a portion of your organizations are eligible.
How can I tell if my recurring donation has been impacted?
You will receive an email from support@brightfunds.org if at any time your recurring donation has been canceled due to the organization's status being ineligible.
If your recurring donation was canceled, you should not see the recurring donation management box on your Dashboard.
What steps should I take if my recurring donation is canceled?
Feel free to set up your recurring donation once more, just as you did before. You can reference the recurring donation section in our "How to donate" article.
